Present lectures, conduct research and mentor students
The behaviorist can present lectures on a variety of animal behavior topics for groups of pet parents or pet professionals. She can conduct research for pet products companies, shelters and others. She can also mentor students of animal behavior or dog training. Please contact for fee information.
Fees
- In-home consultation
The behaviorist will take a complete history, deduce the causes for problem behavior, design a behavior modification plan and explain training techniques. With an in-home visit, the behaviorist can also observe the problem behavior where it's happening, demonstrate training techniques and observe you practicing.
- $85/hour (Discounts avaiable upon request)
- Average length - 2 hours initial consultation, 1 hour follow-up consultations
- Average number of consultations - 4 (number of meetings is flexible depending on clients' needs)
- Phone consultation
The behaviorist will take a complete history, deduce the causes for problem behavior, design a behavior modification plan and explain training techniques.
- $65/hour (Discounts availavble upon request)
- Average length - 1.5 hours initial consultation, 45 minutes follow-up consultations
- Average number of consultations - 3 (number of calls is flexible depending on clients' needs)
- Dogs & Storks Group Class
The behaviorist will present a slide show and educational lecture about preparing dogs for a new baby and raising dogs and children together. This will occur in an intimate class setting of 20 people. There will be plenty of time for questions and answers. Copies of the slide show presentation and other items will be availblae for sale.
- $10/family (Parents, grandparents, baby sitters, dog sitters, bring them all!)
