I just called to say thank you for saving my dog's life tonight.

Lincoln and our foster dog got into a fight. It was a noisy fight. I was down in the yard and came running up to them. I thought they had stopped, but it had become a quiet fight and I knew I was in trouble. I picked up a bucket of water and threw it at them and broke it up, and Lincoln and I are now on the way to the hospital. He's going to make it, but I've got to talk to him about not getting beaten up by forty-pound foster dogs! But anyway: thank you for the good tips and I'm glad I knew what to do. My world's greatest dog is going to live for another day.

Clever Critters took the guesswork out of selecting a puppy.

Ellen Mahurin went with me to observe a stray mother dog and her 4 beagle-mix puppies, examine their living space and talk to the foster parents. She determined that the dogs had healthy behavior. She guided me toward two puppies that were more friendly to people and I picked my favorite.

Our puppy has turned out to be a wonderful family pet with a great disposition. I have no doubt we literally got the pick of the litter.
