The Animal Behavior College offers certification as a dog trainer through their online school. Courses teach students the basics of canine behavior and a variety of training techniques, with an emphasis on positive reinforcement. Certification involves completion of courses and an externship with an ABC mentor trainer. ABC also encourages their students to become Certified Pet Dog Trainers in association with the APDT.

Clever Critters works with companies to design and run studies to test new pet products and services. These are great opportunities for students to gain experience working with pets and pet owners.
